The policy hub has the option to make policy views anonymous. This means, if this feature is enabled, user who are not required to attest to the policy are not tracked and there is no training record created. This would mean that administrators will not be able to report on who has viewed that policy.
This feature maybe useful for sensitive company policies such as Maternity and Paternity leave. Dependent on the approval workflow you are using and the policy development stage you can enable the feature by choosing the tab for assignment or the option to publish the policy. The below articles will show you have to do this.
Assigning a Policy without an Attestation
From an end user perspective they will know which policies are anonymous as the policy will not have a status bar and will instead have text thats states it is an anonymous policy.
Note: If a policy has already been assigned and viewed by users, enabling this feature will not act retrospectively and prior views will still be reportable.
Removing this feature will not make anonymous views identifiable, views will only reportable after the time at which the anonymous option was deselected.
If a policy is assigned with an attestation this feature will have no impact, anybody attesting to the policy will have their response recorded.
