Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of security by adding a second step to the log-in process. So rather than just typing in your password, you have to complete a second step as confirmation.
Within Skillcast, this would be a 6 digit One-Time Passcode (OTP) that is sent to the users email address. This code will only be valid for a limited time. Users will only need to enter a valid OTP once for the each session.
2FA can be configured to require an OTP as soon as users login to the portal or when a user with administrator permissions tries to access the management console.
Different 2FA configurations can be defined for different domains within your portal.
If you would like us to enable the Two-factor authentication or would like to discuss further, please contact your Customer Success Manager support@skillcast.com
